Advanced Detailing Services

Specialty Services

Paint correction, decontamination, and coating prep — the technical services that separate a great detail from a truly protected vehicle. Essential for Arizona's harsh climate.

Why These Services Matter in Arizona

The Phoenix climate is one of the harshest environments for vehicle paint in the country.

Arizona UV is brutal

Phoenix averages 299 sunny days a year. UV radiation degrades clear coat faster here than almost anywhere in the country. Correction and coating are your best defense.

Dust storms embed contaminants

Haboobs push iron-rich dust deep into your paint. Without decontamination, those particles oxidize and cause permanent pitting over time.

Coating without prep fails early

A ceramic coating applied over contaminated or swirled paint will lock in those defects and peel prematurely. Prep is what makes the coating last.

Paint Correction

Erase swirls, scratches, and oxidation — down to the clear coat.

Paint correction is the process of removing surface defects from your vehicle's clear coat using machine polishers and professional-grade compounds. Arizona's intense UV exposure, dust storms, and car-wash brushes leave behind swirl marks, water spots, and micro-scratches that dull even a freshly washed car. We assess your paint depth with a paint gauge, then work in stages — from heavy cutting compound to ultra-fine finishing polish — until the surface reflects like glass.

Stage 1 — Enhancement PolishLight swirl removal and gloss boost. Ideal for newer vehicles or light defects.
Stage 2 — Single-Stage CorrectionRemoves 70–80% of surface defects. Best for daily drivers with moderate swirling.
Stage 3 — Multi-Stage CorrectionMaximum defect removal. Required before ceramic coating for show-quality results.
Paint correction is required before any ceramic coating application to ensure maximum bonding and a flawless finish.

Paint Decontamination

Remove what washing can't — bonded contaminants that destroy your clear coat.

A clean-looking car isn't always a decontaminated car. Iron fallout from brake dust, tar, tree sap, and industrial fallout bond to your paint at a molecular level and can't be removed by soap and water alone. Left untreated, these contaminants oxidize and cause permanent paint damage. Our full decontamination process uses a pH-balanced iron remover, tar and adhesive remover, and a clay bar treatment to leave your paint completely smooth — the essential foundation before any polish or coating.

Iron Fallout RemovalChemical decontamination that dissolves embedded iron particles from brake dust and rail dust.
Tar & Adhesive RemovalSafely lifts road tar, tree sap, bug splatter, and adhesive residue without scratching.
Clay Bar TreatmentFinal mechanical decontamination that pulls any remaining bonded particles from the surface.
Decontamination is included with every Stage 2 and Stage 3 paint correction, and is required before ceramic coating.

Ceramic Coating Prep

The step most detailers skip — and why our coatings last longer.

Ceramic coating is only as good as the surface it bonds to. Proper prep is the most critical — and most overlooked — step in any coating application. After paint correction and decontamination, we perform a final panel wipe with an isopropyl alcohol solution to remove all oils, polish residue, and silicone contamination. We then inspect every panel under high-intensity lighting to catch any remaining defects before the coating goes on. This process ensures maximum adhesion, a flawless finish, and the full rated lifespan of your coating.

IPA Panel WipeRemoves all oils, polish residue, and silicone that would prevent proper coating adhesion.
High-Intensity Defect InspectionEvery panel inspected under professional lighting to catch any remaining imperfections.
Surface Leveling CheckPaint gauge readings confirm safe correction depth before coating is applied.
Coating prep is always included with our Diamond Shield and Diamond Shield Plus ceramic coating packages.
